Debi started her recruiting career in Aiken, South Carolina where she quickly became a top producer and leading authority in recruiting for the medical device, pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare industries. Her passion and drive led her to open Apple & Associates in 1993. Under her leadership, Apple & Associates has grown to be one of the leading recruiting firms in these industries.
At the request of her clients, Debi formed A&A Retained Search, our premiere retained search firm where searches are managed by our long-standing executive recruiting team who have developed solid relationships with top leaders in the industries we serve.
Kristen Grant, Executive Recruiter, is responsible for senior-level executive recruiting for our medical device, pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare global clients.
Kristen began her recruiting career with a national staffing agency, later joining a firm in Tampa. During her tenure in Tampa, Kristen achieved over 200% of her quota. In 1998, she joined Apple & Associates/A&A Retained Search and has become one of our firm’s top producers. She is well-respected within our organization and by her client companies.
Kristen Grant is a Summa Cum Laude graduate from Mercer University’s Research Psychology program.
Joan Harris, Executive Recruiter, is responsible for senior-level executive recruiting for our medical device, pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare global clients.
Prior to joining Apple & Associates/A&A Retained Search, Joan worked as a Human Resource Manager creating a human resource function and developing successful recruiting and retention programs for two healthcare organizations. She also spent twelve years with a retained search firm recruiting candidates for healthcare and consumer and industrial product organizations. Since 2004, Joan has been with Apple & Associates/A&A Retained Search. She is a top producer, actively recruiting candidates both domestically and within Latin America.
Joan earned a BA in English at the University of Virginia and an MBA at the University of Miami.

Joanie Blake, Executive Recruiter, Operations Manager
Joanie Blake has been with Apple & Associates for over 10 years. Joanie is at the helm of running operations at Apple & Associates. She maintains and oversees the day to day operations, while managing the office facilities, vendors and database administration. In addition to providing excellent costumer service with our job seekers, Joanie assists in executive recruiting and placement.
Ray Meyers, Director of Marketing, is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to strengthen Apple’s market presence and increase Apple’s market share and maximize revenues. In addition, he will assist in senior-level executive recruiting for manufacturing companies with a special emphasis in the Human Resources arena.
Ray began his recruiting career by founding Meyers Consulting Group in 1986 following fifteen years with Milliken & Company. In 2005 he joined Draexlmaier Automotive of America as Human Resources, Benefits and Compensation Manager for North America.
After retiring from Draexlmaier in 2014 Ray revived Meyers Consulting Group as a management consultant. He has assisted clients with a wide range of consulting services in the areas of Human Resources, Benefits and Compensation, Change Management, Executive Coaching and Organizational Development. In addition, he regularly conducts management development workshops for various clients. He has also worked to facilitate positive management leadership for many companies in the U.S. and Canada to help build more positive and effective leaders.
He holds a B.B.A. in Management from Augusta State University. Ray served as Chairman, HR division, South Carolina Manufacturers Association from 2012 through 2014.
Ed Hoffman, Executive Recruiter, is responsible for mid and senior level recruiting for positions in the manufacturing, capital markets/finance, and construction verticals.
The first several years of Ed’s career were spent in manufacturing operations. He transitioned to a career in recruiting and staffing and has used his deep understanding of manufacturing and operations processes to develop strong relationships with his clients. After teaming with partners at Global Derivatives Search and recruiting for positions in the Capital Markets, Ed started his own company, ibRecruiters LLC, and refocused his efforts on sourcing and placing candidates in the manufacturing and construction industries. He worked as a staffing partner for Honeywell’s commercial lines of business for 7 years before joining the Apple team.
Ed is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston and holds a BS degree in Life Sciences.
