Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Understanding of automation including high-speed assembly machinery, SCADA/gantry/six-axis robotics, and experience with equipment technology.
Capable of interfacing with both internal personnel and vendors on component selection, assembly, troubleshooting and final documentation. Project management and leadership skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS (4-year degree) with a concentration in Electrical Engineering.
5-7 years experience in the design, analysis and fabrication of PLC based control systems for automated assembly equipment preferred.
Solid knowledge of both AC and DC circuits.
Heavy emphasis on PLC programming and HMI development, Allen-Bradley experience preferred.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Broad automation exposure, especially with robotics.
PC literacy.
CAD experience, preferably with AutoCAD2000.
Familiarity with electrical codes required; NEC or equivalent certification a plus.
Injection molding experience a plus.
